MEDA has obtained CE marking approval and FDA clearance for its MD-6000P Bladder Scanner, its bladder scanner portfolio’s latest flagship.
The MD-6000P Bladder Scanner is a hand-held device based on ultrasonic distance measuring principles to calculate urine volume in the bladder and determine the correct opportunity to apply catheterization to reduce the frequency of catheterization and risk of UTI (urinary tract infection). It also comes with an android tablet as an option for higher visibility for bladder scanning results.
The bladder scanner requires no calibration when in use and enjoys high accuracy and unique ergonomic design due to its leading algorithm. It works independently or together with a tablet over Wi-Fi.
