Markem-Imaje will show its high quality 2D coding solutions for Clinical Information Systems (CIS), and other uses, including traceability, at the Pharma Pro & Pack Expo, Hyderabad, India, from 26-28 September.

Highlights of the Markem-Imaje coding hardware on display include the latest innovations in Continuous Inkjet (CIJ) and fiber laser as well as manufacturing and packaging productivity and data management software. The Markem-Imaje coding offer can produce scannable, GS-1 compliant 2D codes, including QRs, as small as 5mm, or 0.2 inches high.
Its latest Continuous Inkjet (CIJ) printer series, the 9750, ushers in the next generation of printers capable of powerful traceability coding, including text messages of up to five lines, logos and high resolution 1D and 2D codes, on all packaging types. The 9750 is compatible with a range of rigorously developed ink formulations, including a large MEK-free ink portfolio that helps reduce consumable consumption and Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emissions by up to 50%.
Also on show will be the e-SolarMark+ eFLS 20-watt fiber laser, ideal for coding on metals, plastics and other challenging materials. The laser coder delivers a high-speed scanning head technology with digitally controlled galvo motors. With optimized optical parameters and superb software performance, the system is capable of printing 1,600 characters per second.
All printing solutions integrate with the Markem-Imaje CoLOS® software which delivers highly effective data management for production and packaging operations, including code verification and optimized performance. For use with major CIS as well as ERP and MES systems; no matter the manufacturing output.
