MG2 successfully participated in Pharmintech, the international pharmaceutical and life sciences show, held together with Ipack-IMA. The entire fair was attended by more than 70,000 professional operators from more than 100 countries over 4 days, active in the packaging and processing markets, for different sectors, including pharmaceuticals.
The presence of MG2 has been full of novelties, thanks to the E series capsule filling family which is in continuous evolution following the human-centered design (HCD), the driver of the company’s technological development.
In addition to Initia, the table-top capsule filler designed for testing and R&D, attendees have discovered, for the first time in Italy, the Essentia capsule filler equipped with powder dosing unit with nominal speed of 100,000 capsules/hour, eSWC statistical weight control and EcoAir. The latter is the new vacuum facilities, specially designed for Essentia, with a reduced footprint thanks to the cyclone system incorporated in the main unit, which allows up to 40% energy savings and noise reduction compared to previous models.
Among the novelties presented at Pharmintech there was also the electronic powder dosing unit for FlexaLAB, the MG2 capsule filler for R&D and small production batches, specifically designed to manage challenging products. This unit, indeed, allows the batch reports electronic recording with consequent dosing parameters optimization to reduce product waste.
