This year’s Pharmintech Powered by Ipack-Ima is drawing near. From 27 to 30 May, in Hall 2 at the Fiera Milano exhibition centre, leading life science companies will showcase their latest innovations in processing and packaging to the chemical, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries.
An exciting business opportunity for the pharmaceutical world, Pharmintech 2025 offers four days designed to foster meetings and partnerships between the trade, major brands, and international buyers, enhanced by a programme of activities hosted in conjunction with the main associations in the industry, including AFI, ADF, ASCCA, Aschimfarma, Assobiotec, Egualia, Farmindustria, ISPE, PDA and UCIMA.
Experts, academics, CEOs, scientific directors, data analysts, journalists and representatives from the associations will be taking turns on the Tech Space stage, leading debates and providing insights into the future of life science.
An international line-up of exhibitors and initiatives, curated and sponsored by AFI (the Italian Pharmaceutical Association), whose value owes much to the dedication and expertise of Alberto Bartolini. As AFI area manager for supply chain and technological innovation, Bartolini contributed greatly to the development of exhibition content which will be delivered in the opening sessions of the first three days. Three key issues will be explored to address the most pressing current challenges, including:
Biotech and innovative drugs: new developments in manufacturing that require high quality, cost management, biosafety, and ongoing investments in research and logistics.
New technologies: artificial intelligence and digitization at the industry’s disposal, to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
Sustainability and green pharma: innovative solutions for secondary packaging and recycling, and life cycle analysis of materials used, for a more responsible supply chain.
Tuesday 27 May – Opening conference ‘Current events and innovation in the pharmaceutical world: the evolution of biotech drugs’, with contributions from Marialuisa Nolli (NCNbio), Alberto Bartolini, AFI/CIT Pharma, a prominent spokesperson from Farmindustria, and Giorgio Ghignoni (Assobiotec), moderated by Ilaria Vesentini (Sole24Ore).
