German packaging machine manufacturer Syntegon Technology marked an impressive presence at the recently concluded PackEx 2022 that was held in Mumbai. “We have used this platform to get introduced to the industry as Syntegon. After two years of Covid, we did not have any major interaction with the industry. At PackEx, we have demonstrated our full expertise and capabilities. All these machines on display have been manufactured at our plant in Verna in Goa,” said Nilesh Vedak, managing director of Syntegon Technology India.
The company demonstrated its vertical form fill seal machines, horizontal form fill seal machines, confectionary packaging machine and secondary packaging machines. Syntegon Technology India has customers in industries such as dairy, chocolate, milk powder, cookies and cakes, among others.
Impressive growth at Syntegon Technology India to continue
Syntegon Technology India has been growing at an impressive pace in the last couple of years and this trajectory is likely to continue. “We have grown by double digit annually every year in the recent past and the company expects the trend to continue in the near future as well. Our growth is coming from the shift from product-based to system-based solutions,” Vedak said.
At the industry level too, Syntegon Technology India expects the Indian packaging industry to continue to grow at a robust pace. “We see robust growth in the Indian packaging industry. The two segments that are seeing the fastest growth are the food and pharma packing segments. As the industry grows we will also continue to bring new technologies and solutions for our customers,” Vedak said.
