The Hindu Business Line reports that the United States has approved its second Covid-19 vaccine – from biotech enterprise Moderna. The Moderna vaccination would be given to US residents aged 18 years and above, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Moderna’s vaccine is the second Covid-19 vaccine to get US approval.
Indian businessman Aziz Premji, founder, and chairman of Wipro, is reported to have invested in Moderna. Close to 20 million US residents will be vaccinated by the end of 2020, revealed Moderna in a statement.
