OncoSangh third edition focuses on cancer care with global collaboration

The third edition of OncoSangh, was this year organized by Metro Group of Hospitals and supported by Dr. AV Cancer Institute.

The third edition of OncoSangh, a molecular tumor board discussion among various top doctors and industry experts, was this year organized by Metro Group of Hospitals and supported by Dr. AV Cancer Institute.  The discussion was held at the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Mahipalpur, Delhi. Vladimir Vukov, a medical oncologist, an international expert from Serbia was a part of the meeting.

Amit Verma, founder and director of Dr. AV Cancer Institute, said, “This initiative of Dr. AV Cancer Institute of initiating the neutral platform to draw a consensus for complex cases through the collective wisdom of all experts at molecular tumor board – Oncosangh. This will lead to better learnings for all of us and make the cancer care approach more patient-centric keeping all practical challenges in mind.”

Speaking on the occasion, Vladimir Vukov said, “The initiative of OncoSangh can really bridge the gap among all oncology experts. This is a platform where political boundaries do not limit the exchange of knowledge”.

The third OncoSangh featured incisive panel discussions, innovative therapeutic approaches, and beneficial networking opportunities. It was a hybrid meeting and over 20 experts joined as panelists from across India. These include Pk Julka, Max Saket; Rakesh Chopra, Amish Vora, Hope Clinic; Shefali Sardana, Max Saket; Nagender Sharma, Max Saket; Sandeep Batra, Max Saket; Ishu Gupta, Dwarka.

Then there were participants from Zambia and Armenia who emphasized the relevance of METRO-ONCOCON on a worldwide scale and promoting global collaboration.
