Ahmedabad-based, Helios Concrew manufactures a wide range of affordable blister packing machines for the food, pharma and FMCG segments. Founded in 2013, the ISO 9001:2015 certified company already has a significant global footprint. Speaking about the company, its managing director Hitarth Raval says, “Our blister packaging machines are suitable for PVC and aluminum strips. We supply these mainly to three industries, including food (butter, jam, pickle, and honey), pharma (tablets, capsules, ampules, vials, and soft gelatin), and FMCG (razors, battery cells, and toothbrush).”
According to Raval, the company fulfills its customer’s packaging related needs with quality products and services. “We focus on energy-efficient and time-efficient machines that are easy to install and easy to run by the operator.”
An affordable, ergonomic and user-friendly product range
Helios offers a wide range of blister packaging machines. Its HC -Triumph high production blister packaging machine can pack up to 6 lakh (600,000) tablets in a shift with minimal air consumption. The device has no micro stops and functions and has a common interface for all components. It is compliant with all GMP standards and guidelines. The man-machine interface of this machine is said to be very ergonomic with a user-friendly touch screen.
Another Helios blister packaging machine is the HC-101, which can pack up to 2 lakh (200,000) tablets in a shift. Capable of packing ALU ALU and PVC ALU strips, it offers print registration controls for print and perforation of the pack. The company also manufactures ALU blister packing machine spare parts suitable for all brands of machines that are claimed to be easy to install, non-corrosive, and durable.
Speaking about the ALU ALU blistering machines, Raval says, “These are highly stable packaging machines for antibiotic products. Customers can obtain high product stability for a long time with them.”
De-blistering and de-foiling machine
In addition to manufacturing and supplying blister packaging machines, Helios manufactures a de-blistering or de-foiling machine. “This machine helps retain capsule and tablets from PVC-ALU rejected blisters. It is an ideal alternative to the manual emptying of blisters. Moreover, it helps in preventing damage to good products,” Raval adds.
Patents and exports
Raval proudly states, “We have launched many models under the registered brand name of Blister King. Our brand is registered, and the company owns five patents in its name.”
Helios exports its blister packaging machines to Aisa, Africa, Middle East, North America, and South America. Raval adds, “In Asia alone, we have exported our machines to many countries. However, we currently do not have any collaborations with any foreign companies. But, we do plan to collaborate in the future.”
Speaking about the competitive environment, Raval says, “At present, we are growing at such a pace where we don’t face any challenge in the market. Our products are comparatively unique, and our orientation and approach are very aggressive. So we feel there is no such challenge right now.”
Raval proudly claims, “We are a one-stop solution for all packaging machines, including ALU ALU, PVC ALU, PVDC ALU, and strip packaging machines. Our company focuses on primary and secondary packing lines.”
“We want to become a Rs 100-crore company by 2022. We are on-track with this aim, as we are continually expanding and developing new machine models,” he concludes.
