Tridev Industries — mostly into lipsticks and liquid lipsticks packaging — showcased its cosmetic packaging products at the recently concluded CosmoHome Tech Expo, held from 19 – 21 July at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
Tridev Industries imports its packaging technology from China while the manufacturing takes place at its plant in Bawana Industrial Area, New Delhi. The lipstick packaging samples displayed at the show displayed a premium finish. The company supplies cosmetic packaging products to some of India’s leading brands and cosmetics startups.
Akshay Midha from Tridev Industries said the only factors to be kept in mind while designing the packaging for these products are quality and finishing because in cosmetics you buy what you see. The cosmetics industry in India is very big but still at a growing stage, he said. “With all the startups that are coming up, the future is very bright. I would prefer people forget about China or any other country and start buying from India because we have all the facilities now. We have all kinds of finishes that brands look for and the quality that they seek.”
Midha said their USP is how you take care of a product from the first step of the manufacturing process to the last step when the customers have the product in their hands. “Maintaining quality and finish is the main aspect. And that’s what we have been doing.”
