Aster DM Healthcare launches Aster Whitefield Hospital, a 506-bed Multi-Specialty Hospital at Whitefield.

Aster DM Healthcare, a private healthcare service providers in GCC and India, has announced the expansion of its Aster Whitefield Hospital to become a full-fledged cutting-edge multi-super-specialty hospital located in the heart of Whitefield, Bangalore. 

The 506-bed is equipped with its comprehensive and specialized medical services. The expansion follows the success of Aster CMI and Aster RV Hospital. Aster Whitefield will be Aster’s 3rd multi-specialty hospital in Bengaluru and overall 19th hospital in India. The hospital was inaugurated by Dinesh Gundu Rao, ,minister for Health and Family Welfare and U T Khader, speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly; Sharanprakash R Patil, minister for Medical Education Government of Karnataka in the presence of Azad Moopen, founder chairman and managing director, Aster DM Healthcare.

The Aster Whitefield Hospital will cater to the diverse healthcare needs of the growing Whitefield township – housing globally trained and experienced doctors. Aster Whitefield will feature centers of excellence in oncology, cardiac sciences, neurosciences, gastroenterology, integrated liver care, multiorgan transplantation, urology & nephrology, advanced robotics, laparoscopic and conventional surgeries, orthopaedics, women’s health and child adolescent health.

The Aster Whitefield Multispecialty Hospital will be India’s first centre to offer Intra Operative Electron Radiation Therapy (IOERT) for precision treatment of cancer. Other advanced technologies the hospital will offer include hybrid biplane cathlab, 3d mammogram, digital PET CT, advanced Linac, Hipec/Pipec procedures, full room digital radiography and a scalp cooling system to prevent hair loss during chemotherapy.  The hospital will also feature the 4th generation Da Vinci Robot for advanced surgeries in oncology and urology along with an OT complex with 16 operating theaters equipped with high-end medical equipment.
