Hyderabad 20 April 2021, ekincare, a health benefits platform that helps companies administer benefits efficiently and optimize their healthcare spending for outcomes, has announced a partnership with 1mg to provide on-site Covid-19 vaccinations for more than 500 companies. Delhi-based 1mg is an over-the-counter medication, medical products, and services supplier nationally.

The two company’s joint vaccination drive is to be conducted in 100% compliance with government directives. It will contribute to the fight against the skyrocketing second wave of Covid-19 that has been rampant in the country since mid-March 2021.

As Covid-19 cases steadily increase and the risks of exposure get higher, the Government of India has stated the importance of setting up vaccination drives at workplaces and improving the efficacy of the vaccination drives in an official circular. ekincare, an employee healthcare management company, initiated its first Covid-19 vaccination drive for employees and their dependents from 8 March 2021. More than 100 clients have already registered since then, resulting in 3,00,000 plus vaccinations demands for employees and their dependents.

Among the first to take this initiative, ekincare is now able to conduct workplace vaccinations to battle the current Covid-19 outbreak. Healthcare companies across the country are doing their part and showing that it is crucial to join forces in times of crisis.

On-site vaccination for corporate employees

With an enterprise-grade platform, industry-leading service experience, ekincare is happy to partner with 1MG, where ekincare will focus on generating demand and client servicing. At the same time, 1MG will help with the supply side of the equation.”
