Maag’s new FX and DX series of corrosion-resistant gear pumps are being shown at Achema Pulse. The FX and DX series provides higher flexibility in terms of performance, reliability, and dosing accuracy due to an innovative design. The gear design provides higher efficiency and the Quick cleaning series allows quick, easy, and complete cleaning of the internal pump components without requiring disassembly of the flange from the drive system, according to the company.
Another innovation being shown at Achema Pulse is the Maag Brain, this new stand-alone monitoring system is a step forward in using Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things (IOT). According to the company, the monitoring system is able to monitor pumps and optimize their maximum efficiency in production.
Maag’s innovative high-performance pelletizing machines are also being shown at Achema Pulse. The machines are used for the production of biopolymers. Technology-based, the machines offer optimized pellet shape up to micro pellets. The machines also offer recycling systems with added value and tools with significantly longer service life until knife changes and or die plate grinding, according to the company. The high-performance strand pelletizing machines bring innovation to compounding and masterbatch production and large-scale polymerization.
