Bawana-based Qubeplast Packaging Solutions showcased PET, HDPE and glass packaging for cosmetics at the CosmoHome Tech show, held on 26 – 27June in New Delhi’s Pragati Maidan.
With its head office in Delhi’s GTB Nagar, CosmoHome Tech was the company’s maiden exhibition to showcase its brand and products to visitors and existing customers. The company has an in-house tool room where dyes are manufactured from scratch, Tanya Rustgi, director at Qubeplast Packaging Solutions told Packaging South Asia.
The Indian cosmetics packaging industry is growing day by day, she said. Earlier, glass packaging was mostly imported from China but now it is being manufactured in the country itself. “A lot of players are entering the cosmetics packaging industry. We are looking at more growth and looking at participating at more such events,” she added.
Airless bottles are picking up fast and the company plans to manufacture them in-house at Qubeplast, she said, adding customers will see more of double-walled jars, royal jars, and pastel colors in cosmetics.
“We are a developing company and have been doing very well over the past four years. We have been providing cosmetics packaging solutions to Nykaa, VLCC, Habibs and Mamaearth. We are looking at manufacturing more products in-house rather than importing them,” she concluded
