Kolkata-based Sigma Sprays, a manufacturer of spray pumps and dispensers, showcased its low-profile pumps, fine mist spray pumps, mini-trigger sprayers, treatment pumps, and lotion pumps used in perfumes, cosmetics, and agriculture at the Cosmohome Tech exhibition in Delhi in June.
The company has its own in-house product design facilities, with its own tool room and plastic molding sections. Sigma Sprays also manufactures springs and most aluminum caps for the spray pump products in-house. It hosts its anodizing section and has its own rubber products molding and rubber washer manufacturing sections.
There is a vast opportunity for growth in the caps and closures segment in India, Gopal Saha, managing director at Sigma Sprays, told Packaging South Asia. Sigma Sprays supplies its spray pumps all over India, especially in Delhi, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. Some companies also export their products through Sigma Sprays.
The spray pumps are not tested on animals and are manufactured from recyclable plastic. The pumps are available in a variety of colors such as white, black, silver, gold, and red. Sigma Sprays supplies its products to companies such as Godrej and Dabur.
